Bottle Cap FIlm Festival
Newcastle Town Centre Partnership is working on the project to launch the first Bottle Cap Film Festival this November, with the help of local award-winning film company Junction 15. The festival will feature two distinct events with an engagement day on Nov 15, consisting of film-making workshops and the opportunity to meet industry pros, as well as the awards night on Nov 16, to be held in the historic Mellard’s Warehouse.

Tough Mudder Charity Event!
October 6th 2013 is the North West Tough Mudder event. For the uninitiated, it is a 12 mile assault course, considered by many to be one of the toughest events on the planet! Toast of the Town
A new artisan group will launch its brand this month – with a new themed event in a town centre.
Newcastle will come alive with Bread,Beer and Busking, on August 24, in the event organised by TOAST, which stands for Totally Original Artisans from Staffordshire. The community group is headed up by Denise O’Sullivan, a local ceramicist who has been involved with organising pop-up markets and events locally and further afield. She said:

Costs incurred by retailers that take card payments
The EIU has the power to get retailers a better deal from card providers, they have setup an online survey in order to gauge the opinions of local retailers into the costs incurred accepting payments by card and cash.
We would urge as many retailers as possible to fill this survey in!

Town Centre Partnership Launch Event
Newcastle Town Centre Partnership welcomes you to join us at our launch event which takes place from 5 till 7pm on Monday May 13th, at the old Sugar Cane shop (soon to be Newcastle College’s MADE here Gallery), 13-14 Lancaster Building, Newcastle Town Centre, ST5 1PG.
